I used some modeling paste and stencils to create texture before I painted this. I was trying to capture the atmospheric view of the mountains, and the idea of driving out along a winding path into some wild place, past the trees, and towards the horizon. This painting is framed in a black floating frame and is varnished so it's displayed without glass. The framed size is 7.5 x 7.5" and 1.25" deep. The price reflects the framed painting with free shipping in the US. Contact me if you'd like to see additional photos.
