This painting shows a small group of torching trees in a forest. The flames glow among the thick branches. It's semi-abstract with a lot of depth due to the layers of wax used to create the painting. Hot wax with pigment is applied and then bonded to the surface with a flaming torch. It is painted on a 6 x 6 x 3/4" cradled wood panel. The original is framed and ready to hang in a black and gold floating frame with an overall dimension of approximately 7.5 x 7.5 x 1.25". The price reflects free shipping in the US. I love making art, but my day job is wildland firefighting. I fell backwards into fire management after earning a degree in Forestry.
