Description

I took a photo of this scene while hiking in Yellowstone. It's painted on paper that I coated with gold gesso, so it has a sparkle to it, with vivid hues of gold and orange. The vibrant colors give the scene a striking, almost otherworldly appearance as hot water areas steams up through the snowy banks of the river.
